Description

The Zacapu Splitfin is native to the Middle Rio Lerma Basin and Lake Zacapu in Mexico. It is a livebearer inhabiting springs and lakes. It prefers cool to warm, hard, slow moving water and is a nocturnal carnivore feeding mainly on plantonic invertebrates.
