Common Name: Mangrove Rivulus
A small brackish to marine water toleraant killifish found across the Atlantic coastal areas of the Carribean and South and Central America. It inhabits mangrove forested regions. The species has a high tolerance for low oxygen environments and can survive out of the water for extended times buried in moist burrows.
