Description

The Golden Skiffia became extinct in the wild and is now being re-introduced to the Upper Ameca basin in Mexico. It is a livebearer inhabiting streams and springs. It prefers warm, hard, slow moving water and is a herbivore feeding primarily on algae and some detritus.
