Description

Apistogramma "Rio Mamoré" (scientifically Apistogramma erythrura) comes from the Mamoré River system, specifically the lower Mamoré River drainage in the Beni province of Bolivia, and also found in nearby Brazil. This dwarf cichlid lives in soft, acidic, tannin-stained waters, utilizing dense vegetation and leaf litter for habitat within this South American river basin
