Description

Light brown species of labyrinth fish in the Betta waseri group. They're distinguished from similar species in part by their horseshoe-shaped black throat mark, the presence of both dorsal and caudal transverse bars, and their non-spotted, yellow or brown lower margined opercle (FishBase).
