Species Profile:  Betta schalleri

Common Name:  Schaller's Mouthbrooder

Description

A mostly brown species of mouthbrooding labyrinth fish that lives in blackwater environments and hill streams. They're extremely similar to other species in the pugnax complex, but have more anal rays. To see the exact measurement differences between these and related fish, I would recommend checking FishBase.
