Species Profile:  Betta omega

Description

Betta omega is native to a small southern region of mainland Malaysia near Singapore. It is a paternal mouthbrooder from blackwater environments and should be kept in soft acidic water with temperatures in the mid 70s F. Pairs can be housed in a 20 gallon tank, while groups should be housed in a 55 gallon tank or larger. Pairs should be given cover such as caves and plants.
