Betta simorum is native to Indonesia and is found on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra. It is a large bubblenester that should be kept in soft acidic water with temperatures in the low 80s F. Pairs can be housed in a 20 gallon tank, while groups should be housed in a 55 gallon tank or larger. Pairs should be given cover such as caves and plants.
