The White River Springfish is native to the Endorheic White River Basin in Nevada, USA. It is an egg layer inhabiting springs, unique in its preference for slow moving, warm to hot, hard and alkaline water. it is an omnivore feeding on a mix of algae, detritus, and invertebrates.
