True Poecilia wingei, commonly called 'Endlers', are small peaceful fish native to northeastern Venezuela. In the hobby a wide range of Endlers have emerged, many of which are hybrid strains resulting with guppies (Poecilia reticulata). Hobbyists use 3 classes to characterize them: 'N' documented as native strain, 'P' undocumented native strain, and 'K' hybrid forms crossed with guppies.
