Don't know anything about this species yet. Picked up eight 1/2 inch fry at the GCCA rare fish auction on 03/08/2026.
07/13/2026 - Very prolific breeders. Have had multiple spawns ranging from 9 fry up to 70.

I was lucky enough to catch them in the act one morning around 5:30 during a rain storm. Later stripped the female and had 70 fry. Tank was a 40 breeder with a PH of 8.8 and a DH of 12.3.

Fry readily take baby brine and crushed flake after 2 weeks.
