Aquarist Notes

Photo of aquarist's species:

Collection Point:   Sebuku - East Kalimantan province on the island of Borneo, Indonesia

Genetic Line:   F0 Wild Caught

Year Acquired:   2026

Acquired a group of 6 wild caught fish (3 pairs) from BW Aquatics in March 2026. They are currently housed in a 28g lowboy tank in blackwater conditions. The fish have done well, have spawned and at least one young fish has survived it's hard to know in the 36"x18" botanical and plant filled tank. In late June I was lucky enough to catch a pair spawning photo shows the pair while the female was exchanging the eggs to the male. When colored up they look like minature macrostoma!
