Aquarist Notes

Genetic Line:   Aquarium Strain

Year Acquired:   2024

Acquired a group of adults needing to be rehomed in June 2024. Pair formed which became very territorial. Currentlly housed in a 33L tank with N buscheri. Male continues to be very protective of a well protected cave. Very good parents. Prolific.

Species Spawned:   Yes

Parents were hidden much of the time. Hard to know when fry were available. Generously fed BBS and eventually saw a group of 30+ fry pretty small exploring their way out of the cave.

Have Reared Fry?   Yes

Once they get going, they are prolific. Easy to rear on live BBS, microworms, and readily take small powered dry fry food.
