Aquarist Notes

Genetic Line:   Aquarium Strain

Year Acquired:   2023

Acquired a group with guaranteed male and female and a few younger fish from Ira Garner at the virtual TFCB 2023 Annual Auction. These are fun easy to keep shellies and they quickly established a colony with several spawns from original adults and now spawns from younger female. Huge aquascapers!

Species Spawned:   Yes

These guys are spawning machines. Easy to see why colonies get overgrown so quickly. After just a few months I have already brought lots to local auctions.

Have Reared Fry?   Yes

Just leave'em with the parents and the colony is very tolerant. Talk about extended families! Daily BBS feedings and they grow like weeds.
