Species: Neolamprologus longior
Description
A species endemic to Lake Tanganyika and close relative to N. leleupi. It has a slightly more elongated body and other subtle differences. At a glance the two are quite similar. Like N. leleupi, the coloring of N. longior is quite variable ranging from bright yellow to orange.

Acquired a group of Karilani Island "Orange" from Dave's Rare Fish as part of the NECA group buy in Oct 2023. Fish are doing great, but are mostly yellow not orange for me. May be diet plays a big role in the orange color development. Recently looks like a pair have formed looking for spawning activity soon.
