Obtained wild caught subadults from TUIC in 2022.

Species Spawned:   Yes

Seem to spawn well over sand and large rock covered bottom with large patches of moss over areas of rocks. Eggs fall down into rocks and hatch.

Have Reared Fry?   Yes

Fry do well on BBS and eventually flake food. Adults do not seem overly aggressive to fry although fry will stay near bottom amongst rocks. Reared F1 and F2 generations now successfully indoors in 40 gallon breeder.
