Aquarist Notes

Photo of aquarist's species:

Collection Point:   Lupota

Genetic Line:   Wild Caught

Year Acquired:   2025

Acquired a group of 4 adult wild caught fish from Anthony Stissi (Staten Island Cichlids) in February. About 10 days in looks like a pair has formed. Shown in photo.

Species Spawned:   Yes

5 months in and the pair have spawned successfully bringing their fry out to feed. See Species Log for more details.

Have Reared Fry?   Yes

Parents brought the group of fry out to the front of the 60g breeder community and were skittish. I was able to net and siphon off most of the fry and put them in a grow-out tank. They're feasting on BBS.

Young fish available?   Yes
