Aquarist Notes

Photo of aquarist's species:

Genetic Line:   Aquarium Strain

Line Traits:   Wild Peruvian x Orange Koi

Year Acquired:   2024

I acquired these fish from Basil Holubis who obtained them from a local breeder who crossed a wild Peruvian angel with his orange Koi aquarium strain. I obtained 4 young adult fish ~3" and are now fully grown beautiful fish. A dominant pair has formed and spawned multiple times.

Species Spawned:   Yes

Typical of angelfish, they spawned once on an Amazon sword leaf, and a second time on a vertical edge of driftwood.
