Aquarist Notes

Genetic Line:   Aquarium Strain

Year Acquired:   2025

I tubbed with several species of Pseudomugil this summer, but had the best luck with this one. This fish isn't suitable for aquariums less than 15 gallons, as it moves quickly and erratically. This species does best in a group of at least 6 with at least an even amount of males and females, with extra females preferred. The males will flare fins at each other in a beautiful show, but never harm each other. Males fins are noticeably larger and more colorful than female's fins.
