Description: Gymnogeophagus balzanii is perhaps the most well known member of the Gymnogeophagus genus. It is a majestic and relatively peaceful cichlid, although it shows conspecific aggression toward other males. Can handle a wide range of temperatures and will do best with a cool winter season.
