Common Name:   Eastern Rainbowfish

Description:   6" (15cm) max length. Found across a variety of habitats, including swamps, lagoons, streams and rivers. Most of these biotopes are subjedt to seasonal changes in temperature, water level and dissolved sediment. The fish are typically found under cover of aquatic vegitation or other debris, such as submerged logs.

Species Spawned:   Yes

Easy to spawn like most rainbowfish. Keep adult group in a tank with lots of spawning mops or java moss. Remove adults and in a few days you will start to see tiny fry at the top of the water.

Very small, so feed with microscopic foods (greed water, vinegar eels, etc) for the first week.
