6 adults currently housed with Altolamprologus compressiceps Red Kagunga. Multiple spawns but the Comps pick off the fry. A few fry have evaded the comps but no serious serious attempt to raise the fry yet.

03/21/2026 - Removed the Altolamprologus compressiceps Red Kagunga a couple of weeks ago and disrupted the Julies. Have only had one spawn since the removal but still currently growing about about 40 fry.

Have Reared Fry?   Yes

Fry are easily fed on baby brine that is hatched daily. All three sets of adults leave the fry alone and I have seen no predation on any of the fry. Roughly 30-35 are in a breeding box getting them big enough to transfer to another tank for grow out and another 10 or so are still in the parents tank and various sizes.
