24 August 2025 - Placed the 4 sub adults in 40B with 8 Cyprichromis leptosoma 'Mpimbwe' Neon Blue.
Mid September 2025 - Both males colored up and started dancing for the females.
01 October 2025 - Larger male killed the smaller male leaving me with a trio.
10 October 2025 - Noticed that I hadn't seen the larger female out and about. Figured that she was hiding from the male.
22 October 2025 - Saw female and noticed that she was holding. Stripped female and received 12 Wigglers. Placed them in Egg tumbler.
26 October 2025 - Fry had become free swimming. Fed them live baby brine.
02 November 2025 - Transferred 12 fry to 20H with Pundamilia sp. 'Crimson Tide' fry for grow out.
07 November 2025 - Lost 2 fry.
06 December 2025 - Stripped female of 22 eggs.
07 December 2025 - Gave adult trio to another member of the GCCA.
12 December 2025 - Still growing out in 20H.
13 December 2025 - Second set of eggs has become free swimming
Have Reared Fry? Yes
Fry have continued to get live baby brine 2x daily along with crushed flake 2x daily. Haven't been overly aggressive to the other fish. At almost 7 weeks, they are about 1/2 inch long and healthy. Tank they are in is a 190 gallon growout system consisting of 8x 20H and 33 gallon sump.
